The performance was born in 2009 thanks to the collaboration with two
Greek artistes: Ifighenia Kaberi e Marina Dimopolou. It was an experiment where each artist started
thinking about the relationship between in and out through her personal
experience with complete freedom. Music
was the only common element during the creative process .
Thanks to the interaction e the reciprocal influences the project took
place even though each part created can be independent and makes sense alone.
In-out is about the in-out of human being, the relationship between individual
and society, the relationship between body and soul, between balck and white.
Maybe we are never inside of things and never totally outside of them.
The performance atmosphere is surreal but it is closely related to the
reality.
La performance
nasce nel 2009 grazie alla
collaborazione con due artiste greche: Ifighenia Kaberi e Marina
Dimopolou. Si è trattato di un
esperimento durante il quale ognuna ha cominciato separatamente a riflettere su
cosa potesse significare la relazione interno-esterno interpretandola tramite
la sua personale esperienza nella più totale libertà. Elemento comune nello sviluppo dell’opera è
stata la musica che accompagna il lavoro.
Tramite l’interazione e
l’influenza reciproca il progetto si è trasformato e ogni parte, pur
acquistando forza nell’insieme delle parti, ha mantenuto la sua autonomia.
In-out si sofferma
sull’ interno-esterno di un essere umano, sul rapporto tra individuo e società,
sulla relazione tra corpo e stato d’animo, tra bianco e nero.
Forse non si è mai
completamente dentro le cose né mai del tutto fuori.
L’atmosfera della
performance è surreale ma fa riferimento a qualcosa di molto concreto e reale.
